We are proud to continue our partnership with the City of Tuttle and celebrate the 25th Annual Tuttle Ice Cream Festival this month. Taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, in downtown Tuttle, this event showcases some of Braum’s classic ice cream flavors and fan favorites, like Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Cup, and Chocolate Turtle.
The Braum’s dairy farm is located in Tuttle, which inspired the City of Tuttle to host a festival to pay homage to the delicious ice cream made in its very own community.
“This event is a great partnership between the City of Tuttle and Braum’s that began over two decades ago. It continues to grow every year and gives us a chance to celebrate the wonderful community that is home to our farm, plant, bakery and dairy.”
– Drew Braum, President and CEO.
This year is slated to be one of the best years yet as the City of Tuttle expects large crowds to partake in all the festivities. The Festival kicks off at 9 a.m. with rides and games. It will run all day until 5 p.m. Wristbands will be available for the ride attractions, including the zip line, vertigo, tumbler, water slides and much more. If you enjoy live music, catch performers throughout the day at the Sooner State Bank Entertainment Stage. This year’s featured musical acts are Nathan Burris, Jeff Douglas and Signal 88.
When it comes to the ice cream, festival-goers won’t be disappointed with nine different Braum’s flavors to choose from. Another special treat for visitors will be the parade that kicks off at noon. To add to the fun, the Braum’s Family Farm Tour Cow Bus will be participating in the parade, mooing and all! Several other local businesses will also take part in the parade for a chance to win cash prizes for first, second and third place in the best float competition. Other attractions include a classic car show, a Little League baseball tournament, a homemade ice cream-making contest, an Ice Cream Princess Pageant, food, vendor booths, crafts and more! And don’t forget to enter the ice cream eating contest to see just how much your sweet tooth can handle. Plus, you get to enjoy all the free ice cream you can eat in one minute. Remember: space is limited so sign up early in the day!
This is a family-oriented event, so if you are looking for a fun activity for Father’s Day weekend, this is it.
