To Our Valued Guests & Team Members,
At Braum’s, we are working diligently to provide a safe, clean environment for our employees and customers as our communities continue to feel the increased impact of the coronavirus, COVID-19. The health and safety of our customers, employees, and the communities we serve are our top priority.
We feel it is essential to share the proactive steps that we are taking to continue to keep our guests and team members safe and healthy.
As part of our protocols, our stores have heightened their cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment for everyone. While all of these procedures were in place before, we have increased how often we are cleaning and disinfecting all high touch point surfaces.
- All employees are required to wash their hands every 30 minutes at the minimum, before handling food, or after doing anything that may contaminate their hands, such as touching money, their faces, or using the restroom.
- High touch-point dining room areas, including tables, chairs, booths, highchairs, drink station countertops, door handles, and trash cans, are disinfected with sanitizing cleaner.
- Counters are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Door handles are cleaned with disinfectant.
- Restrooms are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
- The kitchen and back-of-house areas are cleaned using sanitizer.
- Shopping carts are cleaned with disinfectant after every use.
- Any employee displaying symptoms or who is feeling ill is encouraged to stay/go home, no questions asked.
- Employees are permitted to wear PPE, if available. Personal PPE can be worn if it is food safety approved.
At this time, we will continue to operate the drive-through and offer carry-out. Some of our store dining areas will start to reopen according to the plans set forth by state and city officials. The Fresh Market will operate as usual, with added safety and cleaning measures in place. Braum’s Fresh Market items will only be available in the store, not through the drive-through. Please keep in mind that we are working to sanitize and clean the Fresh Market area throughout the entire day to provide a safe shopping environment for our guests, as well as a safe working space for our team members. Braum’s Fresh Market is smaller than most major grocers, which means that we see smaller crowds and can work more diligently to maintain cleanliness throughout the grocery and dining area.
All of our locations are only offering drive-through and take-out at some stores for the grill and fountain area. All store dining areas will start to reopen according to the plans set forth by state and city officials.
